Jaime Mann presents: Steady Under Pressure: Building Resilience, Confidence and the Courage to Act

Wednesday, December 2, 2026 (1:00 PM - 2:30 PM) (EST)

Description

Pressure is part of working in construction. Projects change, decisions need to be made with incomplete information, difficult conversations happen, and sometimes the voice creating the most trouble isn’t coming from anyone else—it’s the one in our own head.

In this practical and engaging 90-minute virtual workshop, leadership speaker and construction business owner Jaime Mann explores what resilience actually looks like when the pressure is real. Rather than simply “pushing through,” participants will learn how flexibility, self-awareness, and the way we interpret challenging situations influence our ability to stay steady and move forward.

Using research, relatable construction-based examples, and practical tools that can be used in real time, participants will build greater awareness of the thoughts and emotions shaping their responses, gain clarity about what may need to shift, and learn strategies for managing unhelpful thinking. The session will also explore how confidence is strengthened through intentional action, helping participants take the next useful step even when they do not feel completely ready.

Participant Outcomes:

-Build resilience by strengthening self-awareness of the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that shape how they respond under pressure.

-Gain greater clarity about what may need to shift by using practical tools that support reflection, adaptability, and personal growth.

-Build confidence and courage to act by managing unhelpful thinking and taking intentional next steps, even in uncertain or challenging situations.
